Asia:

Our coasters and jute bowls come from Freeleaf, who provides employment and holistic care to at-risk and trafficking survivors in Asia. They strive to create a world where women are “knot for sale.”

Thailand:

Our So Black Charcoal Soap is created by Single Origin Skincare. SOS is on a mission to keep coffee grounds out of landfills. They collect coffee grounds from local cafes and use those to create their luxury skincare line. In addition, they work to provide education to the children of coffee growers in remote regions.

India:

Our Varasi Robe and Sleep Mask are made by our partner Sudara, who has created an in-depth job training program for women in India who have survived or are at-risk for sex trafficking. So far, more than 7,500 women have been trained through their program.

Turkey:

Our Quiquattro pestemal towels are hand-loomed by a Syrian refugee family in Turkey. Refugees can often be in refugee camps for years. With Quiquattro’s job training and employment, these refugees are able to provide for their family during this season of transition. Quiquattro also donates 10% of their profit to educate adolescent girls in Turkey.

Jordan:

Sitti Soaps was founded to create a path of hope for Palestinian refugees, most ex-Gazan refugees, by providing education, job training, and employment for refugees at the Jerash Refugee Camp in Jordan. Instead of relying on non-profits for basic needs, their work with Sitti Soaps gives them a sustainable road to independence.

Uganda:

Three Avocados Coffee is one of the most popular items in our personal and corporate gift boxes. They give 100% of their net profits toward clean water initiatives. They started their work in Uganda, and then supported clean water projects in Ghana, Bolivia, Thailand, and Burkina Faso. United States:

Hon’s Honey, who makes our Honey Sampler is based in Baltimore where they provide employment, mentorship, and counseling to women survivors of addiction, trafficking, generational poverty, and trauma.

Conscious Coconut, the corporate gift supplier for our coconut oil, provides work to people with disabilities in Tampa, Florida. They also support fair trade practices with both their farmers in the Philippines and their packaging factories in China.

We give our beCAUSE minded net profits to Austin-based Foster Village, who supports foster children and the people who love them. Every item you purchase – whether a single item from our online marketplace or a gift box – helps support foster children in and around Central Texas.

Haiti:

The Taino Mugs are made by artisans in Haiti, an area struck by such severe poverty and inequality that mothers were found leaving their children at orphanages to ensure they had enough to eat. Our partner Papillon Enterprises provides these women job training and fair wages in order to prevent orphanhood in Haiti.

Nicaragua:

The purchase of our hammock swing provides employment to disabled artisans in Nicaragua, a group that has a 90% unemployment rate in the country. Through their job training and steady employment, many of these artisans are able to achieve lives of independence. Love for Nica also donates a portion of their profits to help preserve natural and agricultural ecosystems in northern Nicaragua.
